Beaker
born May 15, 1984
I remember the first time that I saw Beaks.
We were at my grandmothers place, and my father pulled up in the Chevy Valarie
I remember it like it was yesterday.
Little Dan, sitting in the car seat.
When we got home, Matt and I kept trying to get him to get his eyes open.
That's when the brother-ly abuse started, and it continues to this day.
Lil Beaks, was always left out of the fun
We used to rip on him so bad, he'd get pissed, and say things like
"You're Just Jealous"
"You're the Boss"
"Whatever"
I convinced Dan one time, that the milk in milkweed, was actual milk.
It tasted and looked like it, "just take a drink dan!"
He Did
I was swatting weeds with a baseball bat, and Beaker looked down to see what I was doing
Smack!!!
I hit him right above the eye, that was the first of trips to the hospital for lil beaker.
Dan fell off the tractor, had to get stitches inside his mouth
Dan was my father's favorite, so of course, Matt and I ripped on him big time for this
He had names like, "Beaker", "Veeda Vada Vooda", and "Skeeter" among others
feel free to use these at anytime
Dan told me he would pay me 20 dollars to run around the house naked in very early spring one year.
He later changed it to 10 bucks, and I had to go around 10 times.
I ran around the house 8 times before I heard my father, and was not going to quit before I could get the
money, so I finished
My father came into the house, "Doug, you are one sick boy... just sick!"
He made me fork the entire mow of straw, from one side, to the other, took me 4 hours.
Hey, 10 dollars is a lot of money for a kid my age, i think i was 14
I'm kidding, I was much younger.
Dan was extremely intelligent, by far the smartest one of all of us, and probably the smartest kid in
his entire class, I'll paste a message written by him on his web page.
Dan would also like you to know that his favorite parts of the high school education system are the
numerous opportunities he gets to test his intellegence on the copious amounts of standardized tests.
(e.g. ACT, PSAT) Dan would like to take this opportunity to brag and to let you know that he earned a
34 on the ACT as a junior, and is considering taking the test again in summer to shoot for a 36.
Dan was always a big fan of the cows.
He was the last of us left on the farm, and probably knows 3 times as much about running a farm
as Matt or I do.
He is, the most likely to take it over.
Dan now attends Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. It costs a lot, but he's awesome, so
it's great that he's there.
